Willard Wallman, age 81, of Huron, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, April 24, 2025.

A private graveside service will be held at Bethel Church Cemetery, rural Yale.

Willard Willis Wallman was born at home on August 25, 1943, to Frank F. and Sarah (Tschetter) Wallman, rural Carpenter, South Dakota. He grew up working on the farm and attended schools in rural Yale. In 1962, he graduated from James Valley Christian School. He then went to Grace Bible College in Omaha, Nebraska.

On June 25, 1965, Willard married Jeanette "Jan" Walter at Bethel Church, rural Yale. To this union, two sons were born, Jeremy and Rusty. Willard enjoyed farming his whole life and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jan in 2003; his siblings, Gloria (John) Wipf, Helen (Ferd) Wipf, Rose (Harlan) Tschetter, Raymond Wallman and Kenneth Wallmann; and brother-in-law, David Kleinsasser.

Grateful for having shared in Willard's life are his two sons and their wives, Jeremy and Kristi Wallman of Yale and Rusty and Tina Wallman of Medina, Minnesota; his five grandchildren Landon, Jerrad, Barrett, Grant and Delaney Wallman; one sister, Susanne Kleinsasser; two sisters-in-law, Evelyn Wallmann and Dorothy Wallman; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
