Tyler Gene Graycek, 23, of Huron, died Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at his home. A small gathering with immediate family members was held at the Stuart residence.
Tyler Gene Graycek was born February 1, 1992, in Huron, South Dakota, to Dana Marie Graycek-Stuart and Ralph Eugene Brooks, but raised from the age of three with the help of his step-father Richard LeRoy Stuart. Though the family did move around some before finally setting roots in Woonsocket, Tyler grew up mostly around the Huron and Woonsocket area and graduated from Woonsocket High School in 2011. Though he held different job positions, he seemed to enjoy every one.
A loving son, brother and friend, Tyler was loved by many people. Tyler had many friends, all of whom will admit that he was always happy, smiling, and was "the life of the party" because his bright smile would light up the room to brighten anyone's day. Many would say that his mother's nickname for him, Smyler, suited him beyond measure.
Survivors include his grandmother, Carole Genevieve Kingey; his mother and step-father, Dana Marie Graycek-Stuart and Richard LeRoy Stuart; his father, Ralph Eugene Brooks; two brothers, Jordan Michael Fillholm and Kamrin Robinson; three sisters, Randi Rae Stuart, Lexi Stuart and Sarah Brooks-Renner; and other extended family members.
