Titus Tee Tu, age 75, of Huron, passed away Monday, June 11, 2018, at his home surrounded by his family. His funeral service was held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 16th at the First Baptist Church. Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery.
Titus Tee Tu was born March 23, 1943, the seventh of eleven children born to Po Dwe and Gay Bwe at Mawchi, Burma, Myanmar. He was baptized at Taung-ngu, Myanmar. He received his education at Taunggyi, Burma, Myanmar and graduated from the 12th grade.
As an arranged marriage on April 6, 1968, Titus married Tay Paw.Titus and Tay Paw both worked for the government of Burma, Myanmar for 19 years in the mines mapping out routes. Titus retired upon moving to the United States.
Titus attended his church faithfully where he played the guitar and sang in the choir. He also enjoyed reading the Bible and listening to sermons every day. Helping others was Titus' outreach to the community.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Blessed to be part of his life are his wife of 50 years, Tay Paw of Huron; five children, Hsa Gay (Mg Mg Myo) of Myanmar, Bway Wah (San Htoo) of Washington, Marilyn (Aeng Soe Htee) of Myanmar, Ku Thay "Christine" (Lah Shee) of Myanmar and Eh Gaw "Htoo Htoo" (Hser Hser Paw Pyu) of Huron; five grandchildren, Myo Heinsoe, Myo Hein Htat, Pretty Girl, Marvel Tway and Victor Htoo Wah.
Titus is also survived by his ten siblings, Mercy, Bu Gay, Win kno, R Ricky, Dinah, Deanna, Ni Toe, Kay Ra, Mary Paw and Mu Aye; and many nieces and nephews.
