Teresa A. Paul, age 58, of Huron, passed away Monday, October 4, 2021, at the Huron Regional Medical Center – Emergency Room.

Her funeral service was held at 10:30 AM, Monday, October 11th, at the Kuhler Funeral Home.  Burial was in the Maplewood Cemetery at Iroquois.

Teresa was born February 8, 1963, to Myron and Mary Jean (Scheid) Baye at Huron. She was raised in the Iroquois area, where she attended school, and graduated from Iroquois High School in 1982.

On July 28, 1984, Teresa married Richard Paul at Iroquois. They then moved to Hitchcock, where Richard was working. They lived there for many years, and started their family. The family later moved to Huron.

Teresa worked at various retail stores including, Pamida, K-Mart and the last five years at Runnings.

Teresa enjoyed fishing, camping, and frequently visited Lake Louise. She loved riding 4-wheelers around the Black Hills. She enjoyed decorating for the holidays. Teresa decorated for Halloween only to please her husband, Richard.

She was preceded in death by her father, Myron Baye; one nephew, Shawn Baye; and her father-in-law, James Paul.

Grateful for having shared in her life are her husband, Richard of Huron; one daughter, Ashly (Eldon) Jacobs of Huron; one son, Tyler (Haley Scholten) Paul of Parkston; one grandson, Nathan; her mother, Mary Jean Baye of Huron; her siblings, Jean (Roger) Walls of Iroquois, Mike (Lori) Baye of Dell Rapids, Janet (John) Boomsma of Wessington; her mother-in-law, Margie Paul of Janesville, Wisconsin; two brothers-in-law, Robert Paul and James Paul, both of Janesville, Wisconsin; and many nieces and nephews.
