Seth Tschetter, age 31, of Brookings, died Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at his home. His funeral service was held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, May 28th at Mt. Olivet Church. Burial was in the Ideal Cemetery.
Seth Tschetter was born September 23, 1984 to Harvey and Patricia (Mathews) Tschetter at Huron. Seth grew up in Huron and attended Huron area schools. After high school, he attended South Dakota State University for two years.
Seth enjoyed fishing and hunting with his dad. He was a Steelers fan and watched a lot of professional sports including Major League Baseball and Professional Basketball. He loved to learn and read to gain new knowledge. Seth was very fond of his cats, and always helped a friend in need.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and three uncles, Larry Tschetter, Jerry Tschetter, and Gerald Tschetter.
Grateful for having shared his life are his parents, Harvey and Pat Tschetter of Huron; his five sisters, Shawn (Morey) Trupe of Rapid City, Stacey Hazelton of Rapid City, Samantha Tschetter of Brookings, Sarah Tschetter and Sierra Tschetter, both of Huron; two uncles, Carroll (Arlene) Tschetter of Huron and Jim (Jean) Mathews of Pleasant Hill, Iowa; two aunts, Judy Tschetter of Huron and Dorothy (Jim) DeRouchey of Frisco, Texas; four nephews; two nieces; and many cousins.
