Scott Rink, age 59, of Huron, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at home.

His memorial visitation was held from 9:00 to 10:00 AM, Monday, August 9th at the Kuhler Funeral Home.

Memorials may be directed to the Huron Country Club.

Scott Richard Rink was born August 5, 1961, to Richard and Phyllis Rink, at Huron. Scott graduated from Huron High School in 1980. He lived briefly in Sioux Falls and Phoenix, Arizona, before returning to Huron where he and his father started Dakota Reclamation, later named Overbuilt, Inc.  He was very talented with steel fabrication, hydraulics and wood working. He also enjoyed golfing and camping with his family.

Scott married Rebecca Feickert on May 29, 1998. Together they had three daughters, Lauren, Olivia and Regan, and one son, Richard.

Scott was preceded in death by his father, Richard; his mother, Phyllis; and his brother, Michael.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca; his four children, Lauren, Richard, Olivia and Regan; his sister, Cindy (Roy Lopez); his brother, Craig (Sue); six nephews; and two nieces.
