Ronald J. "Rooster" Waldner, age 62, of Huron, passed away at his home on Saturday, January 30, 2021.
His family will be gathering for celebration of his life will be held from 3:00 to 7:00 PM, Monday, February 1st at Bethel Mennonite Brethren Church, rural Yale.
Ronald J. Waldner was born June 5, 1958, to Joseph and Mary (Waldner) Waldner at Huron. He grew up at Pearl Creek Colony and left home, when he was 18 years old. He lived in Huron, where he worked for Allen Anderson, Huron Dressed Beef, Dakota Pork and later retired from LSI.
He loved the outdoors and spent most of his time trapping and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one nephew, Wesley.
Survivors include his 10 brothers and sisters; Charlie (Kathy) Waldner, Watertown, Ernie (Linda) Waldner, Milbank, Frieda (George) Waldner, Pearl Creek Colony, Joe (Kathy) Waldner, Worthing, Bob (Pauline) Waldner, Watertown, Bennet (Susan) Waldner, Pearl Creek Colony, Marybeth (David) Tschetter, Watertown, Gladys (Lenny) Decker, Motley, MN, Susanna (Leonard) Waldner, Huron and Jeff (Sharon) Waldner, Milbank; along with many nieces and nephews.
