Obituary

Robert "Bob" Richeson, age 65, of Huron, died Saturday, February 21, 2015, at his home surrounded by his family. His memorial service was held at 5:00 PM, Sunday, March 1st at the Kuhler Funeral Home, with Rev. Andrew Crandall, officiating.
Robert Richeson was born May 15, 1949, to Ralph and Elsie (Crisci) Richeson at Peru, Indiana. He grew up at Peru and graduated from Peru High School. While in high school, he was a trampoline artist in the Peru Amateur Circus. He then worked as a power lineman in the Peru area.
In 1968, Bob married Sam Secord at Peru. They had two children, Tatia and Robbie. In 1973, Bob married Darlene "Jinx" Myers at Peru. They had one daughter, Jodi.
Bob continued working as a power lineman for over 35 years. He worked for United Power in Colorado, where he did trouble shooting in the Rocky Mountains. Bob was a long time member of the United Power Union.
After retiring in 2011, Bob started Woodchucks, a tree trimming business and made walking sticks and canes. He enjoyed reading and working puzzles including Sudoku, crosswords, and word search. Bob liked panning for gold and playing the penny slots. He was an avid coin collector and attended many auctions. Bob was a dedicated Denver Broncos fan.
In January of 1988, Bob married Elizabeth in Coal Creek Canyon, Colorado, in the home of "Dan the Preacher Man." They had one daughter, Ashley. They lived in Coal Creek Canyon for 30 years before moving to Huron.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Elizabeth on December 30, 2014; and one son, Robbie Richeson.
Grateful for having shared his life are his three daughters, Tatia (Phil) Hyde and their children, Shawn and Robbie of Peru, Indiana and Jodi (Kimber Bradshaw) Richeson and their children Jenaya and Jevon of Deer Park, Texas, and Ashley (Hunter Davis) Richeson and their daughter Dylan Davis of Coal Creek Canyon, Colorado; two brothers, Ralph Richeson of Palmdale, California and Harry (Linda) Richeson and their children Michelle and Jason of Peru, Indiana; his mother-in-law, Darleen Ames of Huron; one sister-in-law, Jill (Kevin) Minske and their daughter Marissa Minske of Huron; two brothers-in-law, Martin Ames and Tom (Debra) Ames, both of Huron; and many cousins.
