Robert M. Cameron, age 75, of Huron, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at the Huron Regional Medical Center.

He will be missed terribly by his family and friends.

His family has chosen to wait until a later date, when it is safer to gather in a group, to celebrate his life.

Memorials may be made in Bob's name to Huron Regional Medical Center, HRMC Dialysis Unit or to the charity of your choice.

Robert M. Cameron was born April 26, 1945, to Merle J. and Lila Mae (Dubro) Cameron at Huron. He grew up in Huron, graduated from Huron High School, and continued his education at Huron College.

Bob was employed at Fair City Furniture and Fullerton Furniture, before co-owning The Carpet Center with his cousin, Gary Venables. They worked side by side for many years, until Bob retired in 2014.

On May 4, 1970, Bob married Susan Passenheim in Las Vegas, Nevada. They made their home together in Huron.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, Robert and Bertha Dubro; and his parents-in-law, Ernie and Joyce Passenheim.

Grateful for having shared in his life are his wife of 50 years, Sue Cameron; his sister, Cathy Cameron, his brother, Mike Cameron and friend, Theresa; his cousin, Gary and Dolly Venables; his brothers-in-law, Steve and Jolene Passenheim and Rick Passenheim; his sister-in-law, Shirley and Tim Carlson; and many nieces and nephews.
