Robbie Huether, age 49, of Huron, was found at his home on June 30, 2016, having died of natural causes. His graveside service was held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 6th in the Prospect Hill Cemetery at Wessington Springs.
Robbie Eugene Huether was born October 31, 1966, to Elroy and Carol (Eastberg) Huether in Wessington Springs. He grew up in Wessington Springs and graduated from Wessington Springs High School. He worked at several places throughout the years, such as Trail King in Mitchell and later working as a supervisor at Trussbuilt in Huron. He cared for his mother during her battle with brain cancer. After her death he worked at Jack Link's in Alpena before relocating to Huron to work at Dakota Provisions and occasionally working as a bartender at Mulligan's Bar.
Robbie enjoyed outdoor activities such as camping, fishing and hunting. He had a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles and hoped to have his 1959 Panhead up and running again someday. He also enjoyed playing pool with friends.
Grateful for having shared his life are his father, Elroy Huether of Sioux Falls; his twin sisters, Vicky Huether of Aberdeen and Valery Huether of Warner; and his niece, Alyssa Huether of Aberdeen.
He is preceded in death by his mother and his grandparents.
