Richele Lea Royal, age 29, of Huron, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the Huron Regional Medical Center.

Her service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, help a stray animal or plant a tree in her memory.

Richele Lea Royal was born July 24, 1994, in Huron South Dakota, to Colin and DeLores (Peskey) Royal. In school, she was able to earn her GED eight months prior to the rest of her class. In town, she worked at Godfather's, and enjoyed taking up babysitting jobs, as she was good with kids. She loved her nieces and nephews, and enjoyed coloring in her adult coloring books. Richele was also fond of sitting on her porch and watching the world go by.

She was preceded in death by her father, Colin Royal; her grandparents, Marvin (Peggy) Royal, Carolynn L Peskey, and Patricia (Leander) Raether; her uncle Monty; her cousins, Eric Moe, Robert Bentz, and Renee Dawn Jansen; and her second cousin, Judith M. Carlson.

She is survived by her mother, DeLores Royal; her grandfather Richard Peskey Sr.; her siblings, M. Dean (Charity) Royal, of Macon, GA, Paula (Paul) Oakley of St. Marys, GA, Joseph (Katie) Peskey of Freeman, SD, and AJ Royal of Huron, SD; her aunts and uncles, Deb Raether, Connie Bentz, Val Royal, Leon Raether, Greg Raether, Renee Evans, Patrick Raether, Karen Carter, Diane Turner, Marilynn Dostroph, Richard Peskey Jr., Edward Peskey, Donald Peskey, Evelyn Maslack, and James Jernigan; her special friends, Amara Carson, Brandi Nicole, Kylie Spoonemore, and her morning color buddy, Cowboy Lynn Chapman; she is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as her fur babies, and many other very special friends.
