Raymond J. Waldner, age 57, of Huron, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, May 14, 2022, at the Huron Regional Medical Center.

His funeral service was held at 2 PM, Tuesday, May 17 at the Riverside Colony near Huron.

A visitation was held at the Kuhler Funeral Home from 2 PM to 5 PM, Monday, May 16.

Raymond J. Waldner was born October 2, 1964, at Huron to Jake and Katie (Hofer) Waldner.  He was raised on the Riverside Colony near Huron.

At a young age, Ray left the Colony and began working for area farmers.  He later moved to Wisconsin for a few years.  He returned to the Huron area and worked as a truck driver, most recently for Herren Enterprises of Crooks, SD.

Raymond was so important to his family. Now that he's gone, there will definitely be a huge hole in all of our hearts, that no one will ever be able to fill. We love him so very much. He'll be terribly missed by us all.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; Jake and Katie Waldner.

He is survived by his daughter; Brittany Eldridge; his grandchildren; Brody and Avery; his siblings; Jackie (Edna) Waldner, Sarah Waldner, Larry (Betty) Waldner, Tim (Lori) Waldner, Linda (Melvin) Waldner, Harry Waldner, Bertha (Brian) Wollman, George Waldner, Conrad Waldner and Kathryn (Pete) Wollman; his special friend, Sandy Nyquist; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
