Ramona Hernandez Sanquiche, age 80, of Huron, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021, at her home.

Her memorial service was held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 18th at the Kuhler Funeral Home.

 Her service was live-streamed through the Kuhler Funeral Home website. 

Ramona was born September 1, 1940, to Julio Hernandez and Carlina Sanquiche at San Juan, Puerto Rico.

In December of 1963, Ramona married Juan Figeroa Osorio at New York.

Ramona enjoyed cooking with love, making comfort food for her family from memory. She cherished the opportunity to care for her grandchildren.

Ramona was a strong, brave and very optimistic person. She loved her family and would take the time to listen to anyone and the record shows she always had the best advice to give.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Juan; and three brothers.

Grateful for having shared in her life are her daughter, Leslie and her husband, Les Graff of Huron; her grandchildren, Opal Marie Cruz, Bethany Graff, Carey Graff, Michelle Graff, Savanah Graff and Korey-Allen Graff; her great-grandchildren, Naiomi Cruz, Bailey Cruz, Chase Graff, Ava Graff, Bently Graff, Jaxton Graff, Mateo Graff and Miguel Graff; and one sister, Zoraida Feliciano.
