Pete Lizer, age 36, of Wessington, passed away Monday, August 3, 2020, at Wessington.  At Pete's request, there will be no services.

Pete was born on September 25 1983, at Rockford, Illinois.  He was a graduate of Pecatonica High School at Pecatonica, Illinois. During Pete's years in Illinois he enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, spending time with family and friends. He loved telling stories of riding bulls, hanging out at the sale barn, spending time at his Uncle Scott's shop, and spending time with his friends.

After high school, Pete moved to South Dakota. He made too many friends in South Dakota to mention them all. Pete was loved by so many. He loved riding horses, working on the farm, making tracks on his four-wheeler... and he never stopped turning wrenches.

Pete's proudest accomplishment was his daughter. He could spend days talking about Waylynn. And she adored him. He was a great dad, a friend, a brother, and the life of every party.

Preceded in death by his mother, Laurene (Brandenburg) Lizer and grandmother, Pat (Rose) Adams.

Survivors include his daughter, Waylynn; father, Bob Lizer; sister, Belinda (Martinez) Hallman; along with several aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins and many friends.
