Peggy Sibson, age 66, of Huron, passed away at her home with her children by her side, on Friday, October 13, 2023.

Her memorial service was held at 4:00 PM, Friday, October 20, at the Kuhler Funeral Home. Her visitation was one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Her service was live-streamed.

Peggy Milstead was born January 1, 1957, to Robert and Una (Hoffman) Milstead in Aberdeen, South Dakota. She grew up in Aberdeen, graduating from Central High School in 1975. In 1978, she married Jerry Luce, they later divorced in 1987. She enjoyed her time and co-workers while working at Control Data in Aberdeen. Peggy continued her education at Northern State University, studying commercial arts and graphic design.

Over the years she lived in Aberdeen, McLaughlin, Redfield and Huron. In 1994, she married Bradly Sibson, they later divorced in 2012. Peggy always had a passion for drawing, she also enjoyed reading, bowling, golfing and spending time with friends. She loved to watch her sons play hockey and attend her grandchildren's hockey games and dance recitals. Peggy was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Aberdeen and Huron.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and one brother, Thomas Milstead.

Peggy is survived by her four children, Alec Sibson of Huron, Taylor Sibson of Huron, Erin (Jason) Malsom of Mina and Beth (Brad Gienger) Todd of Ft. Pierre; and three grandchildren, Seth Malsom, Jaycee Malsom and Shelby Gienger.

Peggy is also survived by her siblings and their families, Chloe (Bill) Mcclesky, Mary Milstead, Robert "Bobby" (Karen) Milstead, Nancy (Daniel) Evangelisto and Amy (Lance) Podoll.
