Peggy A. Jones, age 62, of Huron, passed away Monday, March 15, 2021, at her home.

A private burial was held in the Prospect Hill Cemetery at Wessington Springs.

Peggy was born May 29, 1958, to Gordon and Verneil (Schimke) Knigge.

After graduating from high school, Peggy moved to Ames, Iowa, and was married to David Jones. The couple lived in Iowa until 1981 and then moved to Gillette, Wyoming. It was during this time that they were blessed with two children, Torey and Chyanne. Peggy was always full of fun and loved her dogs. Peggy and David also enjoyed spending time in their garden in early spring.

Peggy is survived by her two children, Torey and Chyanne; two brothers, Terry Lee and Michael Knigge; her mother, Verneil Knigge; her special great-aunt, Alma Shoop; as well as her beloved dogs, Ralphy and Max.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Jones; her brother, Barry Wayne; her father, Gordon Knigge; paternal grandparents, John and Alice Knigge; maternal grandparents, Hazel and Edwin Schimke; her beloved dogs, Booey, Billy, Snuggles and Misty.
