Paul Wollman, age 69, of Huron Colony, left his earthly home for a much better one on Thursday, August 15, 2019, at the Avera McKennan Hospital at Sioux Falls, surrounded by his family. His funeral service was held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 17, 2019 at the Huron Colony. Burial was in the Huron Colony Cemetery.

Paul was born on August 3, 1950, to Paul and Rebecca Wollman at Huron Colony, South Dakota.

He married Dorothy Waldner on June 20, 1971, his beloved wife of 48 years.

Paul served the Colony for 27 years as a German school teacher and colony gardener.

Paul is survived by and will be missed by his loving wife, Dorothy Wollman; and two sons and four daughters: daughter, Rebecca (Cornie) and their children Caleb, Janelle, Vanessa, Kaylea and Tyler, all of Grassland Colony; daughter, Julie (Pr. Randy) and their children, Jarius, Candace, Kaitlyn, Randon, Austin, Adam and Megan, all of Silverlake; daughter, Mary (Randy) and their children, Jerome, Dorena, Josiah, Lynden, Melanie and Gabriel, all of Grassland Colony; son, Jorden (Jessica) and their children Jordanna, Daniel and Kerrie, all of Huron Colony; daughter, Paulette (Thomas) and their children Jaycee, Jacob, Michael, Jeremy and Derek, all of Shamrock Colony; and son, Jonas of Huron Colony. Paul is also survived by six sisters and two brothers, Dora, Lillian, Alice, Darlene, Bertha, Lorraine, Marvin and Erwin.

Preceding him in death were his parents; one son, Jerome; one son-in-law, Cornie; and one grandson, Christian.
