Patricia Holmes, age 77, of Carpenter, passed away Friday, February 19, 2021, at her home.

Funeral service for Patty was held at 10 AM, Thursday, February 25th at Kuhler Funeral Home.  Her service was live-streamed through the Kuhler Funeral Home website.  Burial followed at Prairie Bible Church Cemetery.

Patty was born January 13, 1944, to Aubrey and Ruth (Swenson) Worsham in Twin Falls, ID. When Patty was in the 4th grade the family moved to Othello, WA, where she grew up, attended school and graduated from Othello High School in 1962. She married William "Bill" Holmes on March 10, 1961, in Othello, WA. Together they farmed with Bill's parents until 1979. In 1979, their family moved to Longmont, CO, where Patty and Bill attended Denver Baptist Bible College. Bill and Patty graduated in 1982. Following graduation Bill and Patty moved to Huron, SD, where Bill became the Pastor at Calvary Baptist Church. Together they served at Calvary Baptist Church for the next 37 years. They then semi-retired and moved to a farm near Carpenter, SD.

Patty enjoyed being with her family, loved camping, cooking, and ministering to people. She had a burden for little boys, to see them grow up to be Godly men. She was always the first one in the kitchen to help and the last one to leave. She was loved for her selflessness and sacrifice to help other.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents.

Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Bill; children, Sandy (Jim) Rider, Richard (Sheryl) Holmes, and Robert "Bob" (Kristin) Holmes; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Gene (Trudy) Worsham, Gary (Freddie) Worsham, Audrey (Terry) Regimbal, Norman (Carlene) Worsham, Kaye (Bruce) Jones and Sam (Shelli) Worsham.
