Eugene "Pat" Patenaude, age 52, of Huron, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022, at his home.

His memorial service was at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 26, at the Kuhler Funeral Home. Military honors were conducted by the Huron Veterans Council.

Eugene "Pat" Raymond Patenaude, Jr. was born October 27, 1969, to Eugene and Okaretta Mae (Fowler) Patenaude, in Montgomery, Maryland. After he graduated from high school, Pat enlisted in the United States Navy. He was honorably discharged in 1991.

Pat worked at Terex for many years. He enjoyed all aspects of farming. When not working or farming, Pat was playing video games or watching movies: anything with John Wayne in them, The Fast and The Furious series, and Harry Potter. He loved wolves and blankets.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Pat will be missed by his friends that are like family, John and Cheryl Roebuck, James and Tabitha Roebuck, Zipporah and Cody Ware, Jake and Kristen Roebuck and their children, Kolten and Ashlynn; his dog, Pal; and many friends in the community.
