Pamela Cashman, age 66, of Huron, passed away at her home on Wednesday, September 8, 2021.

Her memorial service was held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 15th, at the Kuhler Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Hope Cemetery, Wessington Springs.

Pamela Rae Cashman was born March 8, 1955, to Ira Wagner and Marguerite Ann (Hanson) Cashman at Wessington Springs. She was raised at Wessington Springs, and attended school there. Her senior year, Pam moved to Huron and attended Huron High School, graduating in 1973.

With the exception of moving to Pierre and back to Wessington Springs for a few years, most of Pam's adult life was spent at Huron.

She was a newspaper carrier for The Huron Plainsman. Pam enjoyed knitting, crocheting, playing internet games and spending time with her cats, especially Miss Kitty and Peanuts.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents, John, Florence and Lottie May "Pat" Cashman and Martin and Vivian Hanson; and one son, Joshua Lynn.

Pam is survived by three children, Ryan (Brenda) Carley, Ira Carley of Huron and Jon (Ruth) Carley of Philip; two grandchildren, Remmington Carley-Erbaugh and Maycee Carley; three siblings, Mark (LaVonne) Cashman of Wessington Springs, Susan (Todd) Hiles of Tea and Michael (Kim) Cashman of Aberdeen; numerous nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and one uncle, Roger Cashman of Wessington Springs.
