Pamela Sue Luckhurst (Pam), age 61, passed away, Saturday, August 12, 2023, at home with her family by her side, under hospice care.

Her life was celebrated with a service at 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 17th, at the Kuhler Funeral Home. Entombment followed in the Restlawn Memory Gardens Mausoleum.

Pam was born October 25, 1961, in Huron, South Dakota, to Roger and Joyce Marvel (Peterson).

Pam graduated from Huron High school in 1979, and on December 3, 1982, Pam married Mark Luckhurst in Huron, South Dakota.  Mark and Pam made their home in Mitchell, then moved to Watertown, until they finally settled in Huron, SD.

Pam worked for Coborn's grocery store for 26 years in various positions. Between her work at Coborn's,  her volunteer activities with Relay for Life and United Way and various local fundraising events, Pam made friends with most of the Huron community, with a smile, a laugh and her incredible empathy. She loved and was well loved by her Coborn's family and many community members.

Pam cherished her family and close friends, sharing a deep commitment to her friendships, children and grandchildren. Along with her frequent visits with friends, her annual girls trips and frequent activities with her children and her beloved grandchildren, she will be remembered for the abundance of love she gave to all.

Pam is survived by her husband, Mark; her son, Tyler; her daughter, Jordan (Dean Bacon); and her four grandchildren, Brooks (Tyler) and Kenna, Dakota and Hunter (Jordan).

She was preceded in death by her father, Roger; her mother, Joyce; and her siblings, Doug and Jill.
