Nicole Marie "Nikki" Klich, age 41, of Huron, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2024, at her home.

Her funeral service was held at 10:00 AM, Friday, May 17, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Wolsey. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Her service was live-streamed.

Her visitation was held from 2:00 to 6:00 PM, Thursday, May 16, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Wolsey.

Nicole "Nikki" Marie Klich was born April 19, 1983, to Edward and Carol (Eichstadt) Klich. She attended Wolsey School, graduating in 2001. At that time, Nikki pursued an education in cosmetology at Lake Area Tech.

In 2009, Nikki married Jeffrey Caban, and to that union a beautiful daughter was born, Rhianna Damaris Caban. They later divorced.

To know Nikki was to love Nikki. She was a friendly, caring and compassionate woman that would often times care for those needing additional love and attention. Nikki's heart was exceptional for loving those that she felt were important in her life.

Nikki enjoyed a fulfilling career serving those at the Country View Estates. The residents looked forward to Nikki's presence and she will be greatly missed by the staff and residents, whom she cared for deeply.

Rhianna was the light of Nikk's life. They enjoyed countless hours at the family farm with Nikki's parents, her sister, Angie, and her adopted sister, Katie. The family would go fishing or camping. Nikki enjoyed running the dogs, going on family vacations to Yellowstone and most notably spending time as a family listening to music, which fills so many memories for the family.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ervin and Gloria Eichstadt and Stanley and Irmgard Klich; her special uncle, Gary Eichstadt; one aunt, Irene Klich South; and cousins, Jordan and Dylan and their mother, Sara Klich.

Grateful for having shared in her life are her daughter, Rhianna Caban; her parents, Ed and Carol Klich; her sisters, Amber Halford, Angie Klich and Katie Jones; her beloved fur babies, Rufus the dog and Cash the cat; her aunts and uncles, Gail Eichstadt, Christa and Jeff Horn, Henry Klich, Tom and Laurie Klich, Sylvia Munson and Karen Glover; numerous cousins; as well as special friends, Ashley McWhorter, Rikelle Martindale and Lacey Klich.
