Mary E. Speck, age 66, of Huron, passed away Friday, December 17, 2021, at the Huron Regional Medical Center. Per her request, there will be no services.

Mary was born January 4, 1955, to Leonard and Agnes (Polly-Fudge) Lang in Denver, Colorado. Mary was raised in Denver, where she enjoyed life, her family and being around people.

Mary enjoyed working with a carnival and attended many rodeos, with family members as participants. Years down the line, Mary and her family moved to South Dakota, where she spent the remainder of her life.

Mary's interests and activities included; fishing, playing cards, spending time with her children and grandchildren, spending time with her dogs, watching movies, going to the race track, and playing computer games.

Mary looked forward to the State Fair every year. She could be found gathering supplies for her family and loved ones or at the Freedom Stage watching live performances.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Agnes; her husband, George Speck; and one sister, Phyllis Taylor

Mary is survived by her children; Tammy Lang and J Estes, both of Huron and Desiree Estes of Aberdeen; seven beloved grandchildren; and one sister, Cheryl Morris of Aurora, Colorado.
