Mark Lammers, age 55, of Huron, died peacefully in his sleep February 3, 2015, at his residence. His memorial service was held at 2 PM, Saturday, June 20th, at the Bemis Presbyterian Church at Bemis, South Dakota. Burial of his cremated remains was in the Bemis Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Mark Eric Lammers was born December 30, 1959, at Watertown, South Dakota to Lloyd and Joyce (Dunnihoo) Lammers, Sr. He grew up in Clear Lake and Toronto and earned his GED. He attended technical school in Canby, Minnesota where he trained as a typesetter. He worked for The Coteau Shopper in Watertown as a printing press operator for several years.
He enjoyed fishing trips with his family while he was growing up and liked riding motorcycles with his uncle. One of his favorite hobbies was photography.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Christina Nicole, his father, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
He is survived by his daughter, Erica Lammers of Minnetonka, Minnesota; his grandson, Isaiah; his mother, Joyce Lammers of Watertown; his sister, Mary Jane (Terry Smith) Noblehart of Reno, Nevada; his brother, Lloyd (Lori) Lammers,. Jr. of Johnston, Iowa; his half-sister, Vicki (Brad) Evertt of Duluth, Minnesota; a niece and nephew, Heather and Keith Lammers; and a special aunt and uncle, Pamela (Gary) Malland of Watertown.
