Lucinda “Cindy” Bobeldyke, age 70, of Huron, passed away peacefully at her home under hospice care on Thursday, March 5, 2026.

Her funeral service was held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 13, at the Kuhler Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery, next to her husband, James Bobeldyke and son, Corey Armour. Her service was live-streamed.

Visitation with family present was held one hour prior to the service on Friday.

Memorials are preferred and will be used for Cindy’s final expenses.

Lucinda R. Armour was born February 6, 1956, to Phillip and Janet (Stanfield) Armour, at Huron. She graduated from Huron High School in 1974. Cindy continued her education at Huron College and Northern State College to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology.

On May 31, 1981, Cindy married the love of her life, James Bobeldyke. Cindy was the driving force behind many of Jim’s pursuits. Together, they enjoyed life and added to their family one son, Alan Bobeldyke.

Cindy was most recently employed at Walmart for many years. Throughout her working career, she also worked at K-Mart, LSI and several other places.

She was preceded in death by her father, Phillip Armour; her mother, Janet Stanfield Armour Bobeldyke; her step-father, Ernest Bobeldyke; her husband, James Bobeldyke; and one son, Corey Armour.

Cindy is survived by one son, Alan (Heather) Bobeldyke of Huron; two granddaughters, Tessa Bobeldyke and Jordin Vest; one grandson, Draic Vest; her fur baby, Milo; her siblings, Tim Armour of Nebraska and Laurie (Ron) Roy of Huron; one aunt, Betty Seter of Boise, Idaho; many nieces and nephews and their families.
