Lorraine Schuett Jacobson, age 99, of Huron, passed away Monday, October 12, 2020, at Avantara – Huron.

Her graveside service will be at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, November 18th at the Collins Cemetery, Willow Lake.

Memorials may be directed to the First Presbyterian Church, Huron .

Lorraine V. Ramse was born October 4, 1921, to Gilbert and Tena Ramse at Lennox, South Dakota. She grew up there and graduated from Lennox High School in 1939.

On December 4, 1940, Lorraine married Reynold Schuett of Sioux Falls, and they moved to a farm at Willow Lake, South Dakota. They resided on the farm until September 1977, when they retired and moved to Huron.

She was a lifetime member of the Presbyterian Churches at Willow Lake and Huron.

On November 13, 2004, Lorraine married Iven Jacobson at Huron.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Sandrell, at the age of three; her husband of 62 years, Reynold in September 2002; her husband of 10 years, Iven in March 2014; and three siblings.

Grateful for having shared in her life are her children, Lowen (Cheryl), Lonnie, and Lynn (Gloria) Schuett; her step-children, Ronald Jacobson, Randy (Adele) Jacobson and Joan (Marvin) French; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers; and one sister.
