Leslie Duty, age 56, of Huron, passed away Friday, September 13, 2019, at the Prairie View Healthcare Community in Woonsocket.

Her memorial service will be at 11:00 AM, Sunday, September 22nd at Winter Park. A memorial service will take place in Ohio at a later date.

Leslie Marie Duty was born February 16, 1963, to Billy G. and Phyllis J. (Browning) Duty at Columbus, Ohio. She attended the Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Leslie moved to South Dakota to care for her dear friend, Peggy McDermott.

She enjoyed reading, watching movies, playing cribbage, word games and was the Trivia Queen.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis J. Duty.

Grateful for having shared in her life are her father, Billy (Lois) Duty of Ocklawaha, Florida; three sisters, Robyn (Roddy) Prater of Franklin, Ohio, Lisa (Tom) Linn of Troy, Ohio, and Billee Duty of Dayton, Ohio; many nieces and nephews; and extended family, Megan McDermott, Brenna McDermott and the McDermott family.
