Obituary
Larry Hirschkorn, age 72, of Huron and formerly of Hitchcock, passed away Monday, November 5, 2018, at the SunQuest Health Care Center. Interment of his cremated remains was held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 4th in the Altoona Cemetery at Hitchcock.
Larry Dean Hirschkorn was born May 5, 1946, to Fred and Emma (Pullman) Hirschkorn at Chaseley, North Dakota.The family moved to Hitchcock in the 1950's. Larry attended school at Hitchcock. When he was 12 years old, Larry started working for Bob Price, whom he learned mechanics work from. Larry later went to work for Wayne Schley Salvage Yard. He worked there for many years until his father, Fred, passed away on June 3, 1973. Larry then started his own mechanic garage at Hitchcock.
In April 2009, Larry moved to the SunQuest Health Care Center.
