Kristina Haugen, age 56, of Huron, passed away peacefully at her home, December 2, 2021.

Her memorial service was held at 1:30 PM, Thursday, December 9th, at the Kuhler Funeral Home.

Kristina Ellen was born January 29, 1965, to William and Carmen (Pierce) White at Huron, South Dakota. She attended school in the Huron area and graduated from Huron High School.

On May 14, 2011, Kristina married Lee Haugen at Huron.

She collected wind chimes, enjoyed baking, and spent many hours chatting with her parrot and entertaining her cat.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Lee, on November 12, 2020; one brother, Bill White; and one sister, Nanette Ehrke.

Survivors include her two children, Kimberly and her husband, Jason Lowrance of Prairieville, Louisiana and Kory Robert and his fiancé, Catalina Murillo of Saratoga, California; and two grandchildren, Rhett and Cooper Lowrance.

She is also survived by two sisters, Cindy Boardman and Melody Oebser; and two brothers, Jeff White and Tim White.
