Kimberley Moeller, age 61, of Huron, died Sunday, July 24, 2016, at the SunQuest Health Care Center surrounded by her loved ones. Her memorial service was held at 1:30 PM, Tuesday, August 2nd at Kuhler Funeral Home.
Kimberley Moeller was born June 27, 1955, to Carroll Dean and Doris (Walls) Moeller at Volga, South Dakota. She grew up in Huron but moved to Alaska and later graduated from Valdez High School in 1973. After high school she married Yanko Zecevic and had two children, Christopher and Holly. She resided in Valdez until she moved back to Huron in 1983 where she worked at the Huron Nursing Home and later opened up an in-home daycare.
She spent a majority of her life caring for her children then her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time outdoors especially in her gardens, walking her dogs, and living life to the fullest. Kim never let a good deal pass her up and was always willing to lend a helping hand to someone in need. She was active in church and had a great amount of faith that she passed on to her loved ones.
Kim was preceded in death by her parents, Carroll Dean and Doris Moeller and two brothers, Greg Moeller and Bill Moeller.
Kim is survived by her two children, Christopher (Katie) Zecevic and Holly (Scott) Smidt, all of Huron; her former step-daughter, April (Jeff) Krueger; four grandchildren, Alexys Riggs, Cassidy Riggs, Noah Riggs and Xander Brown; three step-grandchildren, Wyatt Zepp, Bailey Solomon and Dawson Solomon, two sisters, Shelia (Larry) Wiegel of Waverly, Tennessee and Dolane (Wayne) Prien of Huron, South Dakota, and one brother, Timothy (Sue) Moeller of Valdez, Alaska.
