Kevin Dean Trebelcock Sr., the son of Kenneth Sr. and Mildred (Hauk) Trebelcock was born on May 19, 1962, in Spearfish, South Dakota. He attended school and graduated from Belle Fourche High School in 1980.
Kevin married Rhonda Klingman on May 15, 1985, in Gillette, Wyoming. The couple lived in Belle Fourche, South Dakota and welcomed their first son into the world in June 1988. In 1990, the couple settled to Huron, South Dakota and welcomed their second son in August 1990, third son in July 1992, and their first daughter in June 1993.
Kevin, a beloved father, friend, and kind soul, passed away peacefully in his home on August 10th, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. He was a man whose heart was as open as the winding roads he loved to ride. Whether he was cruising on his motorcycle with the wind on his face, waiting patiently in the quiet woods for deer at dawn, or casting a line into a still lake at sunset, Kevin found beauty in life's simplest pleasures.
He was known for his easy smile, steady hand, and the way he could make anyone feel welcome. Kevin had a knack for turning ordinary moments into stories worth telling, and he lived every day with a quiet sense of adventure. His love for the outdoors was only matched by his love for family, and he treasured the time spent with those closest to him.
To know Kevin was to know warmth, humor, and steadfast loyalty. His presence brought comfort, his laughter brought joy, and his kindness touched countless lives. Though he has taken his final ride, the trail of love and memories he leaves behind will guide us forever.
Kevin was preceded in death by his grandparents; his parents, Kenneth Sr. and Mildred (Hauk); his brother and best friend, Kenneth Jr.; his sister, Kathleen (Earhardt); and his son, Dakota.
He is survived by his children, Kevin Jr, Cody and Alexanderia; his sister, Laura (Hoard); his special friend, Karen; and several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Kevin's spirit will live on in the changing seasons, the whisper of the wind through the trees, and the gentle ripple of water on a summer afternoon. His memory is a gift we will carry always.
We love you dad.
