Kevin P. Moore, age 40, of Huron, SD, died August 4, 2025, at Huron Regional Medical Center.

A celebration of life will be private.

Kevin was born January 15, 1985, in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, to Donald and Nancy (Danko) Moore. He grew up there, graduating from Derry High School.

He continued his education after high school, having graduated from the University of Phoenix, earning a Bachelors and Associates in Science, as well as earning a Bachelors in Cybersecurity at WCCC.

He worked as an EMT for many years while in Pennsylvania before transitioning to a career at the State Correctional Facility before retiring in 2023, deciding to move to South Dakota with his family. He also brought with him his wife, Brittney Weaver, who he met in 2004 and never looked back.

Kevin enjoyed spending time with his family, and had a special interest in motorcycles and dirt bikes.

Grateful for sharing his life are his siblings, John Montepart, Donald (Jill Caldwall) Moore Jr., George (Tammy) Moore and Nathan (Maggie) Moore; his nephews, Richard Stemmler, Dakota Moore and Tyler Caldwell; a fur baby, Ralphie; along with lots of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Kevin is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Nancy; his grandmother, Anna Cincotto; his two fur babies, Bruno and Gracie; and multiple aunts and uncles.
