Jennifer Martin, age 23, of Huron, passed away Friday, August 24, 2018, at the Huron Regional Medical Center. Her Celebration of Life was held at 2:00 PM, Friday, August 31st at the Kuhler Funeral Home.
Jennifer Juliane Martin was born February 9, 1995, to Roger Lee and Sally Ann (Renner) Martin at the Huron Regional Medical Center at Huron. She attended school within the Huron school district and graduated from Huron High School in 2014.
Jennifer loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed playing video games and watching television, especially the Veggie Tales. Jennifer had a passion for music. She loved singing in choir and was thrilled to perform in holiday and pops concerts. She also enjoyed volunteering with her classmates. In 2010, Jennifer was a Make-A-Wish recipient.
She was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Gary Renner and paternal grandfather, Louie Martin.
Grateful for having shared her life are her parents, Sally (Ryan) Doyle and Roger Martin, both of Huron; maternal grandmother, Sandra (Kirk Hornshuh) Renner of Pierre; paternal grandmother, Victoria "Vickie" Williams of Mitchell; three brothers, Ben Renner, Jeremy (Mackenzie Stulken) Morgan and Brandon Martin, all of Huron; one sister, Darrien Martin and her mother, Lisa Wallenstein of Huron;one step-sister, Dawn Doyle of Mankato, Minnesota; four uncles, Tracy (Sarah) Renner, Brian Martin, Cliff (Deb) Martin and Kevin (Jenny) Hutchinson, all of Huron; two aunts, Candie Trautman of Mitchell and Nicole (Greg) Weisz of Parkston; her nieces and nephews, Daniel McHugh, Makayla McHugh, Gavin Morgan and Jocelyn Morgan; and many cousins.
Jennifer's last few hours of life were given as a live organ donor so others may continue to live.
