Gary Lee Mills, age 16, of Huron, passed away October 6, 2024.

His funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, October 18, at the Kuhler Funeral Home. His service will be live-streamed.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Friday, October 18, at the Kuhler Funeral Home.

Gary was born in Bakersfield, California on April 28, 2008, to James Mills and Ofelia Galvan. He grew up in California until he moved east to South Dakota in 2017, and eventually made his home in Huron.

He was a huge fan of both watching and playing football, with a special interest in the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also enjoyed wrestling, playing video games, making and eating spaghetti, free styling rapping with his cousins, and spending time with his friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ofelia.

Grateful for sharing in Gary's life are his grandmother, Sylvia Zavaleta; two uncles, Vicente Ibarra and Phillip Cadena; one aunt, Julia Cadena; his cousins, Julia Cadena, Vicente Cadena, Joe Angel Rodriguez, Chuck Mills, Christopher Mills, Kadrian Moreno, Jullisa Moreno, Josiah Cadena, Anthony Cadena and Angel Sanchez; as well as many other beloved family members and friends.
