Fred J. Stolt, age, 79, of Huron, passed away with his loving wife at his side Monday, December 20, 2021, at the Huron Regional Medical Center.
His funeral service was held at 10:30 AM, Thursday, December 23, at the Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. His service was live-streamed through the Church's website. Burial followed in the Riverside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Mount Calvary Lutheran Church .
Fred Stolt was born September 16, 1942, to Fred Jr. and Rosa (Rengstorf) Stolt on the family farm, rural Nicollet, Minnesota.
On October 26, 1963, Fred married the love of his life, Sandra Schroeder, at Nicollet, Minnesota. Together they made their home in Huron and raised two amazing children, Mark and Jody.
He was an active member of the Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. He loved watching football and was an avid Vikings and SDSU fan. He was a hardworking man who loved his family and spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Throughout his life, Fred was passionate about many things including woodworking, golf and camping.
Thankful and blessed to have shared in Fred's life are his beloved wife, Sandy Stolt of Huron; children, Mark (Kay) Stolt of Brookings and Jody (Patrick) Englert of Northfield, Minnesota; brother, Donald (Darleen) Stolt of Bell Vista, Arkansas; sister-in-law, Marlys Stolt of North Fort. Myers, Florida; grandchildren, Alyssa (Trevor) Heinz of Omaha, Nebraska, Kallie (Richie) Pettet of Owatonna, Minnesota, Hannah Stolt of Brookings, Tom Tabone of Kansas City Missouri, Emilie Englert of Northfield, Minnesota and Sarah Englert of Northfield, Minnesota; and two great-grandchildren, RJ Pettet and Selah Pettet of Owatonna, Minnesota.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Jr. and Rosa Stolt; brothers, Victor and Harlan "Jeff" Stolt; and sisters, Harriet, Elisa, MaryLou and Marlys Stolt.
