Francisca Torres Molina, age 75, of Huron, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at her daughter's home in Huron with her family by her side.
Her memorial visitation was held from 1:00 to 7:00 PM, Friday, October 4. at the Kuhler Funeral Home. Her visitation was live-streamed from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
Francisca Torres Molina nació el 8 de septiembre de 1949 en Arecibo, Puerto Rico. Sus padres fueron José Torres y Ana María Molina. Fue la menor de 9 hermanos y según ella decía, era la consentida.
Se mudó con quien fue su pareja a los 21 años de edad y en esa relación de 30 años tuvo sus hijos Carlos Rubén, Lissa Michelle y Karissa.
Estudió secretarial en La Guardia College en New York, luego regresó a Puerto Rico donde trabajó en el Gobierno de Puerto Rico por alrededor de 28 años.
Su vida giraba alrededor de su familia, siguiendo el legado de sus padres de mantener la familia unida, causa por la que luchó hasta su último aliento.
Ella dedicó parte de su vida a la Renovación Carismática Católica donde más que amigos, hizo una gran familia. Era amada por todos los que la conocieron.
Su familia hasta este momento se multiplicó teniendo 3 hijos, 12 nietos, (uno de ellos se encontró con ella en el cielo) y 7 bisnietos; tuvo muchos hijos adoptivos y muchos más nietos adoptivos, siempre la recordaremos como la mejor madre, abuela, hermana, tía, amiga y mujer de Dios que fue.
Francisca Torres Molina was born on September 8, 1949, in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. Her parents were José Torres and Ana María Molina. She was the youngest of 9 siblings and, according to her, she was the spoiled one.
She moved in with her partner at the age of 21 and in that 30-year relationship she had her children Carlos Rubén, Lissa Michelle and Karissa.
She studied secretarial at La Guardia College in New York, then returned to Puerto Rico where she worked in the Government of Puerto Rico for about 28 years.
Her life revolved around her family, following her parents' legacy of keeping the family together, a cause for which she fought until her last breath.
She dedicated part of her life to the Catholic Charismatic Renewal where more than friends, she made a great family. She was loved by all who knew her.
Her family has grown to include 3 children, 12 grandchildren (one of whom met her in heaven) and 7 great-grandchildren. She had many adopted children and many more adopted grandchildren.
We will always remember her as the best mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and woman of God that she was.
