Francella June Lentz, age 86, of Huron, passed away February 24, 2021, at the home of Charles Lentz, surrounded by her family.

Her funeral service was held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 2nd at the Kuhler Funeral Home.  Her funeral service was live-streamed through the Kuhler Funeral Home website.  Burial was in the Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 2nd at the Kuhler Funeral Home.

Francella June Schinderling, daughter of Gerhardt and Maude (Lefler) Schinderling, was born on June 8, 1934, at Huron. She attended school at Huron. She married Howard Lentz on February 9, 1952, at Huron.

She was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening- especially flowers, listening to old country music, studying the Bible, and spending time with her kids and grandkids.

Grateful for having shared her life are her children, Terry (Linda) Lentz of Parkston SD, Kevin Lentz, Lorry (Danny Meyers) Risetter, Cheryl Lentz, Chuck (Penny) Lentz of Huron and LaRae (Robert) Moreno of Brookings; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Ralph Lentz; sister-in-law, Marie Lentz; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard Lentz; brother, Gerhardt Jr. (Junior); sisters, Iva, Marlys, Myrtle, and Juanita; son-in-law, Clark Risetter; and great-grandson, Tony Waldner.
