Earl Jenson, age 56, of Huron, died Friday, January 8, 2016, at his home. His funeral service was held at 10 AM, Thursday, January 14th at the Kuhler Funeral Home. Burial was in the Broadland Cemetery at Broadland.
Earl Edward Jenson was born February 7, 1959, to Arlie and Loretta (Hofer) Jenson at Rapid City. He was baptized in the Baptist Church in Sioux Falls. He attended Huron area schools and graduated from Huron High School. At the age of 18, Earl was employed at Van Dykes.

Earl spent most of his free time fishing on the James River and Lake Byron. He also enjoyed camping, hunting and bowling. Earl liked spending time with his family and being with people.
He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Randall.
Grateful for having shared in his life are his mother, Loretta Olson of Huron; his daughter, Shyanne Jenson of Huron; his son, Nathan (Penny) Rounds of Lane; six grandchildren, Morgan, Cole, Hailey, Caleb, Alexis, Paige; six step grandchildren, Adam, Aaron, Lacey, Ramy, Ameer and Jemeel; one brother, Regg (Jody) Jenson of Redfield; and many nieces and nephews.
