Donna Thesenvitz, age 94, of Huron, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2019, at Huron Regional Medical Center. As per her wishes, she was cremated and buried at the IOOF Cemetery at Gregory, South Dakota.

Donna Jeschke was born January 19, 1925, to Edward and Emma (Stumer) Jeschke at Gregory, South Dakota. She graduated from high school at Spencer, Nebraska.

On November 27, 1947, Donna married Harvey Thesenvitz at Mitchell, South Dakota. After their marriage they lived in various communities in the midwest. In 1968, they moved to the Huron area where they lived out the rest of their lives.

Donna worked as a telephone switchboard operator for Bell Telephone for 52 years. She also did volunteer work at the Federal Building. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harvey on August 16, 1999; and one sister in infancy.

Grateful for having shared in her life are her son, Craig (Sue) Thesenvitz of Huron; her daughter, Pam (Bob) Gatson of Colorado Springs, Colorado; three grandchildren, Todd (Kim) Thesenvitz of Huron, Jamie (Jerry) Howell of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Jason (Christy) Overson, of Lane, South Dakota; and three great-grandchildren.
