Donald "Don" Chapman, age 74, of Panorama City, California, passed away Friday, March 5, 2021, under Hospice Care.

As per Don's wishes, there will be no funeral service.

Donald Chapman born June 25, 1946, was the third son born to Ralph and Theda (Leighton) Chapman at Alpena, South Dakota. They lived on the family farm two miles west of Virgil.

After graduating from high school, Don joined the United States Navy. Due to health problems, he was honorably discharged. He remained in California for the rest of his life.

Don is survived by two daughters and their families, Barbara (Lorenzo) Bobadilla and her son, Joshua, and Michelle and her daughter, Isabel Theusen, all of California. He is also survived by two brothers, Gene and Sheron Chapman and Lynn Chapman, all of Huron.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and one brother, Kenneth Chapman.
