Dolane Laurette Moeller was born September 18, 1959, to Carroll and Doris (Walls) Moeller at Volga, South Dakota. She grew up in the Huron area. Later her family moved to Alaska, where she graduated from Valdez High School in 1978. She completed two years of college and then worked as a bank teller for 23 years.
Doe loved flower gardening and fishing. She loved Jesus and spent her life ministering to others. She was active in church and had a great relationship with Jesus. In 2018, Doe left South Dakota to take care of her sister at Waverly, Tennessee. She made an impact on the lives she touched in Tennessee. Doe returned to Huron in 2019, after her sister's passing.
After Doe learned of her terminal illness, she never lost her faith and even continued to minister to others while on her journey.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Bill Moeller and Greg Moeller; and two sisters, Sheila Wiegel and Kim Moeller.
Grateful for having shared in her life are her husband, Wayne of Huron; her children, William "Billy" (Hannah) Hastie of Evansville, Indiana, Jeremiah Prien of Huron, Michelle (Matt) Simmons of Evansville, Indiana and Zachary Prien of Huron; five grandchildren, Liam and Crosby Hastie and Dalton, Nathaniel and Octavia Prien; one brother, Timothy (Sue) Moeller of Valdez, Alaska; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
