David Olowu, age 77, formerly of Nigeria, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2021, at his son's home in Huron. 

 His family will gather for a memorial visitation on Friday, March 26th at the Kuhler Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, with a prayer service at 6:30 PM Friday evening.  David's prayer service will be live-streamed through the Kuhler Funeral Home website.  

 David Ayinde Olowu was born January 20, 1944, to Emmanuel Olowu and Ibiyemi Eegungbohun at Owode in Ogun State   , Nigeria. 

 On January 2, 1971, David married Olufunmilola Sobukola. 

 David retired from military service in 2003. He spent his retirement enjoying family, friends and watching soccer. 

 He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. 

 He is survived by his wife, Olufunmilola; his children, Oluwasegun and Casey Olowu-Davies of Huron; Bukola; Gbeminiyi and Iretiola, Folasade and Damilola, Michael and Iyinoluwa, Busayo, and Okikiola; and 14 grandchildren.
