David Erdahl, age 54, Huron, passed away Monday, September 4, 2023, at his home.

His service will be held along with his mother, Beverly's funeral service at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 9, at the First Presbyterian Church, Huron. Burial will be in the Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery. Their service will be live-streamed.

Their visitation was held from 1:00 to 7:00 PM, Friday, September 8, at the Kuhler Funeral Home, with their family present from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, and a prayer service at 6:30 PM Friday evening.

David Leroy Erdahl was born January 26, 1969, in Standing Rock, North Dakota. When he was two years old, he was adopted by Beverly and Lester into the Erdahl family. Growing up, he enjoyed hunting and fishing with his dad, and attended Huron High School. In 1989, he married Nancy Wicker, and the two had a son, Trever, in 1993. He was also a long-time employee of Jack's Links. Later in life, he met his partner, Vicki Ravellette, and they spent many years together.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Beverly and Lester Erdahl.

Grateful for sharing in his life is his son, Trever Erdahl, of Huron; his sister, Teri Bierstedt of Brookings; his nephew, Anthony Bierstedt of Saint Paul, Minnesota; and his special friend, Vicki Ravellette.
