Cora Beryl Horton, age 85, of Rapid City and formerly of Huron, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023, at Avantara North at Rapid City.

Her memorial visitation was held from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, Wednesday, December 13th at the Kuhler Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Riverside Cemetery.

Cora Beryl Ringheimer Horton was born April 15, 1938, to Art and Ethlyn (Hatcher) Ringheimer, at Wolsey, South Dakota.

On April 27, 1958, Cora married Robert Horton at Huron. They lived in many locations around the world and state side.

Cora enjoyed bingo, traveling with Bob, and spending time with family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; one grandson, Monty Vaughn; and several brothers and sisters.

Grateful for sharing her life are three children, Barbara and her husband, Richard Zeller of Arlington, Richard and his wife, Janice of Rapid City and Pamela and her husband, Todd Vaughn of Box Elder; six grandchildren, Amy (Todd) Bunker, Anna (Brandon) Vaughn, Bobby Zeller, Richard Horton, Jr., Troy (Bergan) Horton and the late Monty Vaughn's wife, Sheryl Vaughn; ten great-grandchildren, Chloe, Mason, Aimslee and McKinley Bunker, Xavier Zeller, Oliver and Silas Horton, Ari Johnson, Harper and Ava Vaughn; several brothers and a sister; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
