Obituary

Charles L. "Chuck" Miller, age 69, of Huron, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at the University of Minnesota Medical Center at Minneapolis.

Funeral services for Chuck was held at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 29th at the Kuhler Funeral.  Live-streamed service 

Charles L. "Chuck" Miller was born March 5, 1952, to Harry and Faye (Reed) Miller, at Rochester, Minnesota. He was raised in the Rochester area, before attending Sunshine Bible Academy, near Miller, South Dakota. He then enlisted in the United States Army and served in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged from the Army, and returned to South Dakota, where he went to work at the Black Hills Gold Jewelry manufacturer in the Rapid City area.

Chuck moved to Huron in 2011, working at Northstar C-Store and Banner Engineering for 6 years. While living in Huron, he married Carol Wiesmantel.

He enjoyed car racing, the Minnesota Vikings and helping at his daughter and son-in-law's farm. Chuck liked woodworking, completing many projects for family members. His dog, Molly, was a constant companion.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Felicia Stevens.

Grateful for having shared in his life are his wife, Carol of Huron; four children, Eric Miller of Raleigh, North Carolina, Daniel (Jen) Miller of Gillette, Wyoming, Serina (Nick) Kendrick of Columbia, Missouri and Leah (Chris) Olerud of Huron; thirteen grandchildren; one sister, Nola (John) Jones of Oregon City, Oregon; and dog, Molly.
