Bonnie Yeoman Breuer, age 88, of Huron, died Friday, January 9, 2015, in Huron. Her funeral mass was celebrated at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 3rd at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Rev. Terry Anderson, celebrant. A private family burial was held in the St. Martin Catholic Cemetery. Memorials in Bonnie's name may be made to the Jan Manolis Family Safe Center, PO Box 733, Huron.
Bonnie Kathleen Yeoman was born November 18, 1926, to Anton and Alice (McKeon) Yeoman at Aberdeen, South Dakota. She graduated from Aberdeen Central High School in 1945; and from business college in 1949. She married Roy Erickson on October 21, 1950. Bonnie worked for many years in Aberdeen as a Realtor and Life Underwriter.
On June 17, 1972, Bonnie married Donald Breuer. They moved to Huron in 1976, where Bonnie continued to work as a realtor. She retired in October 2014 after being associated with The Real Estate Connection for many years. She is a past president of the Huron Board of Realtors (HBOR), Huron Area Chamber Ambassadors, and Huron Business and Professional Women. In addition, Bonnie was past State Director for the South Dakota Real Estate Association for six years. She was honored to be named Huron's Realtor of the Year in 1985 and again in 2011. In addition, she was recently recognized by the HBOR for her dedicated service to the real estate industry.
Bonnie took great pride in her work as a realtor associate, which spanned many decades. She enjoyed watching football and basketball games and playing cards.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Erickson of Machiasport, Maine; her son, Paul Erickson, daughter-in-law, Pam and grandchildren, Ashlee and Dakota Erickson all of Henderson, Nevada; her son-in-law, Kenneth Alley and grandson, Jeremy Alley of Glendive, Montana; and her granddaughter, Jessica Alley Sebastian and her husband, Daniel and great-grandchildren, Sage and Colter all of Billings, Montana.
In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by both husbands; her daughter, Kathleen Alley; and all of her siblings, Robert Yeoman, James Yeoman, Betty Waltman and Dorothy Nelsen.
