Obituary
Benjamin Bartell, age 76, of Huron, died Thursday, December 22, 2016, at his home. He was cremated and his cremated remains were returned to his family in New York for services there.
Benjamin was born on July 27, 1940, at Port Washington, New York. He grew up there and received his education at Paul D. Schreiber High School. In 1968, he was married and later divorced. Benjamin enlisted in the United States Navy. Following his discharge, he traveled around the United States.Benjamin settled in South Dakota and lived with his cousin, Edward Bartell. For the last twenty five years he has lived in Huron.Benjamin worked at all sorts of jobs. He enjoyed reading and writing.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his sister, Judy Bartell of Stanford, New York and two sons.
