Aurora Oralee Virginia Schnathorst, or as I called her Rory, was born April 30th, 2014. I know it is cliché to say this, but her smile really did light up the room. Her smile was contagious, and you just couldn't help but smile with her, no matter how you felt. Her big belly laughs would echo through your soul and make you feel warm and fuzzy. Her attitude was something you just had to experience rather than explain. She always got what she wanted and would glare at you until you gave in. Those big brown eyes made it very difficult to tell her no. Her long dark brown hair always seemed to be perfect; She even made bed head look cute. Everything done in her life was done on her time and no one could even try to argue with her. She was the most stubborn little girl I have ever had the pleasure to know. She definitely knew how to live life to the fullest and very dramatically as well. She loved giving her home nurses and aides a hard time and absolutely lived for these moments each day and of course always had to keep her mama on her toes.
Rory absolutely loved school, and especially her bus rides. She loved seeing all the staff and interacting with the other kids. Anything that was work though, she would always fight you over. She would throw things on the floor or push it off her table. Rory loved music and always seemed to light up when she attended music class. School allowed her to thrive with her peers and gave her extra opportunities outside of the home. She absolutely loved each and every one of the staff members that helped her over the years. They all had a huge impact on her and helped to mold her into who she became.
Rory loved to spend time outside. She loved to swing and would get the biggest smile on her face when you gave her a good push. She loved the water and spending the day at the pool or the lake. She enjoyed tastes of ice cream or popsicles when it was warm. She loved it when others would sneak her a taste of some soda or sour candy as well. Her family was her world and she loved spending time with her siblings. She loved watching college football with her siblings and was a huge MN Gophers fan along with the Iowa Hawkeyes. She also enjoyed watching hockey and baseball.
Aurora has touched so many lives and words just can't express how much she will be missed. I never knew the impact she was going to make, and now it is clear just how loved she really was.
She is loved extra by her Mother Bobbi (fiancé Dave) Her father Alvin "Skip" her Siblings Julien, Zander, Sam, June, Attila, Memphis, Braylee-Faye. Nana and grandpa (Paul &Lisa Wolf) Aunts and Uncles Sarah (Chad), Mindy (Adam), Schalane (Dave), Kella (Scott), Karla, Schaun (Shelley), Bob (Michelle), Frank, Bryan and Sheldon (Sandy); along with so many great aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was met in heaven by Her grandma and grandpa Norma & Alvin Schnathorst Her great grandparents Roger and Oralee Kasa along with George and Virginia Wolf on November 2, 2023.
