Anne Louise (Funck) Reynolds of Golden Valley, MN formerly of Huron, SD, passed away peacefully after a battle with lingering health issues on August 10, 2022, with her family at her side.
A burial service honoring all three siblings, Anne, Jim and Dave, will be held in the spring of 2023 at the Funck family plot in Huron, SD.

Anne was born in Huron, SD. She graduated from Huron High and continued her education at Huron University receiving her teaching certification. Anne taught until her marriage to Wayne, and together they moved to Snoqualmie, WA. Anne began teaching elementary school again after the birth of their daughter, Stacy. They transferred with Weyerhaeuser to Vernon, British Columbia where their son, Christopher was born. Back to Tacoma, WA and finally to Plymouth, NC. Anne returned to Huron College for a second time gaining her Elementary Education Degree and taught in Wolsey, SD.
After moving to St. Paul, MN to be closer to her daughter, she continued to teach in the St. Paul Public School system until retiring. Anne loved children and her favorite class was always kindergarten.
While in the Twin Cities, Anne especially enjoyed volunteering at St. Joe's Gift Shop, working at the Airport and the Mall of America. She loved meeting new people, had a knack for making everyone feel welcome and had an outgoing personality that would liven any room.
She was a dedicated member of Valley Community Presbyterian Church (VCPC) and loved being a part of such a close church family. She could be found greeting or participating in the coffee crew.
Anne compassionately helped others and was an excellent listener! She was truly interested in what people had to say, how they were doing and always made time to connect, hear a concern or story.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest & Margaret (Wolfkeil) Funck, brother, David Funck of Huron; brother, Jim Funck and his wife, Jean of Kamia, ID; infant daughter, Amy; grandchildren, Dara and Kyle Reynolds of Rapid City, SD; niece, Tonya Funck of Tacoma, WA; aunt, Edith (Wolfkeil) Vaverka of Lincoln, NE; cousins, Mike and Julie (Vaverka) Springer of Lincoln, NE; and ex-husband, Wayne Reynolds of Sturgis, SD.
Anne is survived by her devoted daughter, Stacy Reynolds (Thomas) Ondov of MN; adored son, Chris (Gina) Reynolds of Rapid City; fabulous feline, Fred; nieces, Tracy (Thomas) Reilly, Laura Auckland of WA; and friends from coast to coast.
