Alice Mae Moeding, age 86, of Huron, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2019, at the Avantara of Huron. Her memorial service was held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 14th at the First United Methodist Church. Burial of her cremated remains will be in the Petrodie Cemetery at a later date.

Alice Mae Wheeler was born May 16, 1933, at Doland, South Dakota, to Edward and Lucille (Saboe) Wheeler. On May 20, 1950, she married Fred Moeding of Huron. Except for a few winters in Arizona, she lived and worked in Huron all her life.

Alice Mae was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred; two sons, Johnnie Moeding and Danny Moeding; one daughter-in-law, Wanda Moeding; one brother, C.E. (Speed) Wheeler; and one sister Betty Gross.

Alice Mae is survived by two sons, Jim (Vickey) Moeding and Monte Moeding, both of Huron; one daughter, Bonnie Moeding of Huron; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and her very special friends for many years.
